You know I just love a good trip to the thrift store. Every item in there is like a blank canvas for someone like me. Just waiting for someone to conjure up some creative magic and transform it into something new. During a recent trip I found a jar with a sealed lid. In a former life it was some a corporate freebee you’d get at a conference or event. I knew immediately that I wanted it, and I wanted to wrap it in some twine. Wrapping jars in twine is really easy to do. I haven’t posted a how-to on it yet, but I think I should!
At the same time, I was getting really into oatmeal. But, I hated having to store it in it’s original plastic. So ugly! So annoying! My upcycled bottle met my oatmeal and the two have been inseparable ever since. I also upgraded my ground chia seed storage game. It was also in an annoying plastic bag that would never close shut. The chia seeds have a new home in a small glass jar from Target’s dollar bin.
